The Rules

As I said before I use Two Hour Wargame's "FNG" rules for my gaming of the 'Nam.  In my opinion the rules are easy to pick up and make for quick games.  They also can be used with any scale of miniatures.  I do cut the distances in half since I use 20mm but I'm sure you could leave them the same with no problem.  If you click on the "FNG" cover on the left it will take you to the Two Hour Wargames "FNG" page.

Miniatures

I have miniatures from a couple of different companies.  Here a few pictures of what I have.  I have mainly SHQ, Qualitycast, Liberation Miniatures (bit bigger than the previous two), and some plastic figures.  If you click on any of the pictures of the miniatures it will take you to my Flickr Photo Gallery.

House Rules

Here are some of the "modified" rules I use with FNG and some other rules/ ideas I have borrowed or come up with.

Awarding Medals - There is a section in the FNG rules about awarding medals but it doesn't get specific on what medal is awarded.  Since I tend to get into the details more than I probably should I did modify their rules a little.  If a figure/ character is awarded a medal I try again until he fails the rolls to get the medal.  Each time he passes he goes up to the next medal.  For example:  Private Newby is eligible for a medal and passes his roll to get the medal he starts at the Bronze Star so he rolls again.  If he passes again he goes to the Silver Star and so on.  In FNG you either get a major medal or a minor medal.  The figure only goes up if he rolls for a major medal if he gets a minor medal he can roll again until he fails the roll.
