Welcome...

Just a warning that this a work in progress and I'm by no means a website guru.  This website will hopefully become a place that I can post my wargaming interests as well as games I actually have done or have taken part in.  "The Story of 2nd Battalion's Hellhounds" is going to be a running story of a fictional unit I made up with their combat actions being a results from gaming them using the rules and miniatures you'll see on the other pages.  I hope you enjoy what you see and please feel free to leave any feedback on the Guestbook page.

My Main Focus

My main focus at this time is wargaming the Vietnam Conflict using 20mm miniatures and the "FNG" rules done by Two Hour Wargames.  The miniatures I use are primarily SHQ Miniatures and Qualitycast.  I've recently purchased some Britannia miniatures to add to the collection.

Updates

Here are a list of recent updates as of 09/21/2008.

It's amazing how life can take things spin them around and scatter everything about.  I've really neglected this site for too long.  Warmer weather means working outside on my days off.  Plus with being very busy at work there's little time to enjoy my hobby.  I have added a few things and hopefully I can sneak some gaming in.  I have done some painting and terrain building but not much.  I'll post some pictures when I get more time.  Here's some site updates.

- Added Woodcutter Bait after action report/ story.  It's a pdf file so feel free to check it out.
- Added Flickr slide shows to the bottom of this page and the "Other Periods of Interest" page.
- Completely new website design.  Hope you guys like it.

Feedback wanted!!!!

I'm curious how many liked "The Story of 2nd Battalion's Hellhound's" that I had started?  The story is below if you haven't read it yet.  I was thinking of either starting it back up or starting a new storyline with a smaller unit, more platoon size than company.  I found that the logistics for a story on a Company sized unit was more than I thought it was going to be.  There's a comment form at the bottom of this page.  Send you comments/feedback whether it's good, bad, or indifferent.

Things to Come

Here a few things to expect in the near future.

- I've got a lot choppers and miniatures on the workbench.  I'll try to post pictures as I go.
- More pictures of some terrain and more miniatures I have.

I've decided to revamp the site.  When I started this I didn't realize the time it would take to keep a running story going.  Needless to say it cut into my gaming, painting, and terrain building time.  Plus life as we all know tends to cut time away from our hobby from time to time.  With that being said "The Story of 2nd Battalion's Hellhounds" will be put on the back burner for now.  Sorry to those who enjoyed the storyline my hope is to return to it when life and timer permits.  Here are the links to the pages.
